Arts for Action Cares Limited (UEN 202546785R) is a registered non-profit socially engaged arts organisation based in Singapore. It was founded in 2023 as an applied theatre collective and has evolved since. Publicly, we operate as “Arts for Action (AFA)”, and @AFACares online. We are dedicated to using the arts as a tool for engagement across sectors such as education, healthcare, and social services through community-centred, performance-making and participatory programmes.

Our Logo
The AFA Sunset Hue is the colour of a deep exhale at the end of the day. It’s that moment when you finally reach home, kick off your shoes, and lean on the doorway for a second before stepping in. That orange-pink–purple sky vibe says, “You’ve done enough for today, come sit, come be human again.” It carries a “coming home” feeling where the world is still moving, but in here the pace softens so we can slow down without checking out. It’s not about grand, dramatic change, rather it’s the small, gentle shifts when we start talking a bit more honestly, listening with our whole selves, and actually noticing who’s beside us.
In that light, AFA becomes a kind of living room for the soul where we can unwind together, laugh till our stomachs hurt, maybe ugly cry a little, and slowly find the courage to keep going tomorrow, held by the resilience and strength of community.
