At AFA, we do because we care. We work with people from all walks of life and across spaces, creating meaningful engagements that deepen understanding, nurture connection, and celebrate the richness of everyday life.
Arts X Ageing
We use the arts to support meaningful ageing and quality of life in later years. Through reminiscence arts, creative engagement, and intergenerational programmes, we create spaces for reflection, storytelling, and connection, enabling older adults to remain active, valued, and socially engaged.
Arts X Community
We work in communities where connection and dialogue are needed. By bringing the arts into social and community settings, we create shared experiences that encourage understanding, strengthen relationships, and support more connected and resilient communities.
Arts X Leadership
We support artists and practitioners working in social and community contexts. Through mentorship, training, and hands-on learning, we build skills for ethical, sustainable, and impactful practice, strengthening the community arts workforce.
I am honoured to produce and bear witness to the creative wellspring and the manifested reality of this theatre project. This is what community and care is about, and I will keep these very core memories as drive and a constant reminder for community work going forward!

We have evolved through the years from an applied theatre collective to a registered non-profit arts organisation, and our drive to deliver impactful engagements only continues to grow stronger.
